About Me

An ordinary girl who took some time off work to go to India, who had an awfully big adventure in between, training as a yoga teacher and moving to Brazil, to explore living as a vegetarian and later vegan living in a meat eater’s world.  Later returning to London for easy access to alternative products, these ramblings capture the experiences of someone living outside of the norm as they navigate a world where milk hides in the strangest of things.

Emma is an advanced Sivananda Yoga teacher, certified to 500 hours Yoga Alliance training, qualifying at the Meenakshi Ashram in Madurai, South India, under the guidance of Swami Govindananda Saraswati in January 2008 and graduated from Yoga Synergy’s 120 hour ‘Applied Anatomy & Physiology of Yoga’ course in December 2011

Practicing level II Reiki since 2008, in June 2014, Emma added to her healing abilities, qualifying as a level 4, MTI certified, Holistic massage therapist, studying with the Quantum Metta school of massage, London. She has since added Deep Tissue and Soft Tissue Release massage qualifications to her repertoire.

Teaching as a volunteer yoga teacher in the Meenakshi ashram in 2008 & 2009, Emma moved to Brazil, in September 2009 and taught full time yoga classes to the mostly expatriate community of São Paulo. Returning to the UK in 2013, Emma ran a class at RADA studios before focusing in on massage in London and El Salvador.

Sometimes I feel like writing, sometimes I feel like sharing.

I hope these ramblings help in some way as we watch the wheels go round and round.
